Yet again you have managed to introduce me to a series that is going to cause me to not get any sleep. Not because I'm scared, but because I literally can not put the book down. I'm a mom, a single mom for that matter and can not afford to lose sleep like I did last night when I didn't go to sleep until 730 in the morning because I just HAD to finish the second book. Yes, you heard me, you gave me the books what...Saturday night? I finished book two this morning and got about three hours of interrupted sleep before going to the mall with my sister.
Without revealing anything, are there just the four books or are there more to come? That's why I like the JD Robb series, I know that there will be more books coming. I think she's written 20 or so books so far and there are at least two coming out next year. Which reminds me that I need to go to wal-mart and pick up the Nora Roberts book that came out in November as well as check on the one that's supposed to be released this month. Its so easy to feed her and read, its very relaxing. Plus books say that its good for her to see you reading consistently, it establishes a healthy reading habit in her at a young age. But really, I just like to read.
Thanksgiving was good, not very relaxing but good nonetheless. I kept having to tell all of the older people that Sammy was not eating anything other than milk and rice cereal. Apparently she should be eating mashed potatoes, custard, potato salad, whipped cream and asparagus. That's right. Asparagus. She grabbed an asparagus spear off of my mom's plate and my grandma thought it was hilarious and said that she must be hungry. Yes Grandma, that's it. She's never seen one before but she saw it and suddenly she was overcome with a deep hunger so strong she had to pick it up and eat it. *sigh* Whatever. Gotta placate the old people. With that I bid you adieu.
