So finally I spent how many hours watching all of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, and except for the unfortunate side effect of wanting to punch Sofia Vergara for that incessant commercial, it's so cute and well-done. I was pondering fic and then I realized I had put it into the same slightly awkward box in my brain I have for RPF, so WELL PLAYED SHOW. except fuck now I have to wait, just like everyone else. boo.
Speaking of shows that have Diaries in their names, I am NOT actually caught up on TVD, though Tumblr gave me the highlights. OF course, Tumblr also gives me the impression that 80% of fandom are comprised of asshats yelling at each other, which may have something to do with my reluctance to watch the show. ugh. People, stop sucking.
Person of Interest was awesome, though. I did watch that.
Not sure I have much coherence.
That scene with Bear! *DEAD*
KARA STANTON HBIC. Wow what an amazing sociopath. I love how they gave her "Hair of Unhingedness". Sad that it looks pretty definite (given the Machine's pov) that she's not coming back, but after Annie Parisse got her new show, I figured they'd write Stanton out, so I'm not really surprised. And that was quite an excellent send off setting the clock for (presumably) the season finale, as well as planting the mystery that Harold was involved with Ordos. MIND BLOWN. I'd always figured the hard drive had to have some connection with the Machine given Alicia's involvement, but not Harold directly. (and then Harold's GUILTY FACE when John was all "You saved me" and Harold's thinkgin "well... only because I almost got you killed, so you know. you owe nada.") So I will guess that Conspiracy Dude will end up telling John at some point (or Harold confesses, maybe?) but otherwise we have a lack of people left living who know that.
Speaking of dead folks, good job, Snow. at least you went out like a hero, even if you were a horrible person most of the rest of the time.
I... liked the scene in the hall with Reese, Carter, and Fusco, but I thought it was a little overplayed, tbh. Maybe because this show (and Taraji especially) is usually so subtle, it really stuck out. But other than that, the interplay between the three there, and then Reese and Finch on the roof was great.
(though no, show, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE OO7 as the countdown. Bond pulls that, NOT YOU. except maybe next week when we get REESE IN A TUX.)
And also Nikita! First time I've seen it live in forever! awwww. *flail*
