ACE THE BAT HOUND!!!!!! OMG YOU GUYS THIS SHOW. Ace the BatHound who only speaks Dutch - that is fabulous (and true, I have heard of those special dogs, but I love that Reese not only recognizes it but knows the commands. and now has a puppy).
Also, Reese is hilariously surly in the episode, playing really well off Ken Leung's slightly manic accountant. people are always complaining in comments that the show is 'dour' and things like that, and I just don't even know what show they're watching. I mean, c'mon the dog chewed up millions of dollars in bonds! Reese threatened to go on strike staring at a traffic cam! Reese made bad puns about gag orders, lol. Plus that scene when Reese lays out the whole story of the dog and what they do -- cut to, dude flying out the window. LOLOL. yeah, "dour". Go watch a show with a laugh track if you don't know that's funny.
Meanwhile, Amy Acker is just deliciously creepy with Finch (and I envy her hair), and we get some backstory on how he taught the Machine. Also full on confirmation that the Machine is a full sentient AI, or at least getting there.
AND REESE AND CARTER ARE GOING ON A ROAD TRIP.
