Rose Parade with Cylons!
I had to watch the Rose Parade almost twice completely since I JUST missed the one float I wanted to see (the Loyola Marymount 100th anniversary float). IGGY THE LION. Luckily Channel 5 does nothing but play it on a loop all day so it's easy to catch again. But hee, the Rose Parade weather is almost always utterly PERFECT. Damn it, rain or something, when zillions of people are watching! We don't need any more people, really!
Which means I heard the Siloan Springs Band twice - the first time I thought she was saying the "Cylon band", and had the awesome image of a marching band with nothing but Cylons in it. Which made me think that would be an interesting AU actually - if it was an Alien Nation-type of arrival on earth, but maybe only the Cylons made it. (of course, the REAL reason we'd have never gotten Galactica landing in modern times is because of Galactica 1980, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a cool AU). But I have plenty to write! No, bunny, GET BACK.
