Justified came back last night!
The only show on television that makes me talk like my Great Aunt even though she's been dead for twenty years. It's funny how it all slips back in my ear.
Great new characters for the season -- Margo Martindale as the matriarch of a pot-growing family business, who's that kind of motherly who'll feed you pie, loves her sons, but then tells them to put the body in the woodchipper. Hardcore. Look forward to her and Raylan butting heads. And her and Loretta since you know that bit of killing is gonna come between them. Loretta's gotta find out and she doesn't strike me as a girl who's going to sit on her hands at all.
Jeremy Davies is one of the sons, and completely 180 degrees different from Faraday on LOST.
There was the usual fun of Raylan the Lawman having to interact with people he knows are crooks but are also people he grew up with. They're all so very... friendly. And dangerous.
I hope they get to keep Rachel for more eps this season; her as Raylan's partner (aka minder and witness to his constant getting-in-trouble) has potential.
Olyphant couldn't be any more laconic and hilarious and hot in this role. it's just perfect for him.
