Yesterday as I walked down Torrens St into the city, I came to the understanding that one should not walk whilst trying to eat a banana. No, I didn't trip on any banana skins, I'm not that uncoordinated! Ye of little faith.
One; One gets a stitch trying to scoff food and walk quickly - then spends the rest of the walk in pain.
Two; The wind blows ones hair into ones mouth so you end up with strands of mushy banana covered hair. Always charming. Worst still, you could ingest it and end up with a fur ball.
Three; It leaves one open to immature innuendos, comments and jeers from passing cars. Then choking from rage.
So. As per this scientific study it is muchly advised to eat your lunch sitting down, not on a street and not when you're in a rush.
