signs misleading to nowhere... green day, jesus of surburbia
My pappy got me my Green Day CD. They went to Norfolk yesterday while I was at Heidi's birthday thing (HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY HEIDI!). I am now up one Green Day CD and down 10 dollars. Oh well. My mother still owes me... 8, maybe? So, yeah. It's all good.
I was thinking about something last night. You know how everyone is all "oo, you can't have sex until you are married" so I looked through my bible, (although I wouldn't know any verses to look up, so I just started reading) and it basically says that the only reason you should wait is because sex is a gift to all loving couples, and it is a sin to have sex with someone you don't love and aren't planning to be with them forever (something like that). You aren't supposed to have any sexual relations just for the hell of it. So, in religious eyes, marriage is the only way to prove you love someone. I know I am going to recieve a lot of nasty comments from people I won't mention right now, saying that I know nothing about the matter and then they'll lecture me about it, but that is what I gathered from what I read. So, my opinion stands: it is perfectly fine to have pre-marital sex if you truely love each other and plan to be together anyway, because the only thing different is a legal agreement. There. It's off my chest. But if anyone knows any verses to contradict my opinion, please share. I was very confused last night. I only read what I could find, which wasn't very much... What are your opinions? I'm out.
