update of xmas week
so this last week has had a lot of ups and downs.
one of my mom's best friends got into a major car accident and hasn't really been doing to good. she's at uc davis med center. so my mom was visiting a lot...leaving me at home becasue 1) i'm not good in hospitals and 2) if anything were to happen that's not how my mom wants me to remeber julie. so that's been hard. on top of that this was the first xmas without my dad. it was tradition to decorate the tree on his birthday...the 21st...but we kinda all decided that we didn't want to do that this year. so that was weird. then my mom got sick....stuck in bed, all tired and achey....i think it's just because of all the stress of everything. so xmas day consisted of stockings in mom's room, presents in the living room, watching movies while mom rested and then dinner, stuffed shells, gotta love 'em. after that we kinda sat back enjoying our food comas and playing uno attack.
thank goodness for family and friends. i don't know what i'd do without them.
