I can't bare this anymore. I'm disgusted that people in the rest of the country are failing to grasp the grave seriousness of this situation. I'm disgusted by the looters and the lack of utter humanity demostrated in New Orleans. But ABOVE ALL I'm am disgusted at the complete lack of leadership our government has taken. There is no face to represent the victims. WHERE THE FUCK is our president?! Why, oh lord, WHY has it taken FOUR days for the military to respond?! People are dying and WE are letting them. You had better believe that if New Orleans was a community of rich white people, the government would have been there in a heart beat. But no. We just stood by and let that precious city drown.
