(no subject)
Ok so that was a general update on the status of my life... now for a more specific update.
This weekend Adam came into town and stayed with me. He recently was accepted into NY Law so he came for their open house and to see if moving to New York was a possibility for him... which I really hope it is (for selfish reasons). It would be nice to have another close friend in the city. Adam is one of those "random friends". You know the friends that you met really randomly and for some unexplained reason you stay intouch with each other and over time you become really good friends. Well, yeah, Adam is one of "those". I met him when Tara and I went to UGA on our fall break and after that weekend I never even entertained the idea of seeing him again. But a year and half later, there he is, sleeping on the air mattress at the foot of my bed. So here's to randomness becoming significantness!
Speaking of randomness... while walking to my acting class on w 25th street between 8th & 9th I walked past a kid who went to my high school. Wait, not only did he go to my high school but he also lived the same exact street as me! Chris Brubacker. I couldn't believe it! I was so excited and shocked and he acted like we saw each other all the time. He was just like "hey liz, how's it going". We exchanged numbers and agreed to "have lunch" soon.
Do you think these things happen for a reason? I mean, if I was just 5 seconds behind I would have not turned the corner in time to see him... I've always thought so but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out why God wanted me to run into Chris Brubacker again.
