I would have really liked to have seen how she got from Point A to Point B, myself, but I don't have much trouble believing that she wormed her way out of the brig and back into power somehow, and that's actually pretty far down the list of plot gaps that I wish could have been filled.

Yeah, I have to admit my feelings are similar - it might be higher up that list for me, but not THAT much higher.

Very true, and Farscape, canonically, has been really good at that. I just have trouble envisioning any Grayza/John-sprog scenario not descending into the realm of the soapy. I think it would have been hard for the show's writers to pull that off, let alone fic writers, who, let's face it, generally go further into the soap direction rather than otherwise. (Yes, most definitely including me. :))

LOL! Dude, I don't think you've ever done anything soapy, not even Embodyment was soapy! But yeah, it *does* have the potential to be badly mishandled.

I'd love to see Point 2 done in fic. (Or have you -- or someone -- actually written a drabble based on that thought? It seems weirdly familiar now, somehow...)

No one has, to my knowlege - though John is among the many sets of memories Stark references in my "Memories", I don't explicitly state which John that was. It could be just Talyn John.
