Chicks dig the wingleaves
Okay, so, on Thursday, my nervous system went nuts. I was twitching all over the place, and shaking, and so I called in sick to work and Mike dragged me to the local clinic where the Doctor said "okay, you are under severe stress. I am writing you a note, take the next four days off work."
Well, hell, OKAY! He also gave me some migraine meds (which, sadly I have already used up and thus need a refill).
So I had as relaxing a weekend as possible - including a hell of a time at my current fave LARP: I was the maid of honour at a wedding where someone tried to assasinate the (female) groom and ended up hitting the Bride, before getting beat the shit out of and then tied up. Turned out okay in the end, after we sorted out the small matter of the JOP trying to kill everybody in the house with a gas attack.
...GOD I love this game!! XD
And then we went out for coffee where we had lively discussions about GM horror stories (and I told mine about The Worst Con Demo Game Ever, AKA The Delvian Poo Story), the philosophy of The Matrix, why Mike is one of the best game developpers EVAR, and holy shit the food in this place STINKS, can we please have next Coffee at BPs?
Then I went home and went back to finish off the last level of that dungeon I was doing in .hack - only to discover that it was indeed the last dungeon, and I got thrown into a boss fight unprepared. Didn't end up mattering, because I KICKED HIS WINGLEAFED ASS and was rewarded with the end of game cinematic - that was not "a" boss, that was the END boss! So, uh, urrah? Vol 3 plz?
Sunday was spent lazing around at home, cleaning up .hack side-quests and catching up on my e-mail - which is why you all got responses to comments from up to a month ago. XD I got a start on my f'list, but I ran out of steam, so if there's anything I missed you think I should see, drop a link here, k?
I'm keeping my stress low as possible - aided greatly by up being taken off delivery due to overstaffing at other call centres. YAY!! I SODDING HATE DELIVERY!!
