The day hasn't been perfect, I have to say - imagine spending all day calling people to tell them that the snowblower they ordered in September that was supposed to show up today isn't going to be there until halfway through December. In French. Translating on the fly. Yeah.
The good news is that they get 100$ gift card for their trouble, though this is very small comfort for a lot of folks. Average snowfall in Quebec is no joke, after all. I heard more French cuss-words today than I did in the whole of High School. Ah well.
The nice part is, the lead help who foisted this on me gave me a bag of gummy sharks as a thank you. OM NOM NOM! And when things get too hectic I cuddle my bears. Yes, I brought them with me. Wouldn't you? Got some funny looks, though... meh.
TOO DAMN SQUEEFUL TO BE PISSED!!
In other news....
Had my first choir performance yesterday - went well, though my feet were sore for ages afterwards. But I now feel confident I can do this on a semi-regular basis and not make an ass of myself, even during my solos (I got the echoes in "Do You Hear What I Hear?") So. All well on that front.
Paschenndaele, BTW, was deeply moving and fantastic - if very graphic. More details on request; I don't have the energy for a full review.
[ETA:] Totally meant to include these links when I posted, but I am a SPAZ:
This amuses me to no end. Talk about old jokes! XD

this article to find out why Hugo fas are so damn happy today! Me I say well deserved, but a lil premature. Lifetime achievement awards when you're not 50 yet feels kinda.... uh, awkward. Though I guess it's not technically a LAA, so... *shrugs*
I'd love to tell
You how I feel
I love you madly, madly
Madam librarian

But it's endless fight
I can never win
For the civilized world regards
