Good: I got paid, so the past few days has been paying bills, stocking up groceries, and a little splurging, including renewing my paid account time and extra userpics, which bumps me (thanks to loyalty pics) up to 112 icon slots!

Bad: ...every time I open the filepicker to upload a new icon, Firefox fucking crashes on me! It's driving me bugfuck ( Read more... )

Oh I've been meaning to mention this to you. You should try out the new Google browser, called Google Chrome. It's not bad and it doesn't suck up the memory that Firefox does (and it automatically imports your browser history/bookmarks from firefox).

I'm wary of Crome, as it's enduser agreement involves signing over rights to things distributed with it - which means they'd post anything I post using it, inc. fanfic, etc.

...I've also heard it has a lot of bugs. Does it work okay for you?

They changed the end user agreement about a week ago after everyone bitched and they came to their frelling senses. And it does have a bug or two minor irritations (one though is purely aesthetic) but it works the way it's supposed to.

Ah, okay then. Honestly, I'm very happy with Firefox - I'm pretty sure my problem is windows-orientated.

But I could give it a shot, I suppose.

I'm happy as hell with Firefox, my only complaint is the memory usage (which would explain why you're crashing because it happens to me if I've got too many tabs open for too long.)

Odly enough I haven't had a problem with that - it just lags a little. My *ONLY* problem comes with trying to upload stuff, which I think is a problem with Windows and Firefox interfacing - if not just a Windows Explorer problem.

Thank you for the suggestion though, and I will look into it, because at this point I'm going NUTS.

...stuff like this is why I need a technical difficulties icon. ^_^
