Apologies, Blathering, and Pimping (and a meme, sort of)
First off, bunny, if you're reading this, I'm really really sorry. I'll talk to you about it later, okay?
Second - I had a really awesome day yesterday, and even though I'm feeling like shit right now, I'll cheer myself up by talking about it:
So yeah, yesterday? Very good day.
A meme of sorts I did recently, as well as me pathetically begging for attention links to fic, as it was a fic meme:
I cheated a little on a couple of them, but for the most part these are the results of just 5 minutes or less of typing with minimal editing:
I think it is painfully clear that my WMP hates me. God, look at some of those lyrics!
It would be awesome if any scapers took a look at those and told me what they thought, please and thank you. I'm just getting back into ficcing and I'm finding it slow going.
[Yet another Persian emissary has come to negotiate with the Spartans, only to find them reinforcing their defensive wall with the bodies of Some Persian and his entourage, which I guess the Bottomless Pit coughed back up. Some Other Persian mouths off, so Stelios flips out like ninja, trampoleaps up to the Persian’s parade float and shears off his arm. Slowly.]

- mike_mccall went and picked up the car his parents are lending us for weekends - YAY CAR!!
- Dad came by and dropped off some money for us to pay off the phone bill - YAY OUR PHONE IS RECONNECTED! - and a little extra for us. We gave him a post dated check to pay him back, but he'd only let us pay him pack for the phone bill - awww, Dad. ♥
- we ran errends and got shit accomplished like paying the afore-mentioned phonebill, buying me bus tickets, and grocery shopping (which was all a shit-ton easier since we had a car)
- with the lil bit of extra cash we grabbed 2 teenburgers @ the A&W in the mall, and then went to Milky Way for nummy soft-serve ice-cream (I had Mocha dipped in cherry)
- came back home and watched the Torchwood s2 premiere on CBC with mike_mccall, urrah, and the_iron_troll
- after the show sat down to play Pheonix Agenda - spy hijinx in Vegas in 2047 and it was awesome because my character is a magician/card shark/spy and thus it was all about me but everybody else was awesome too...
- went with mike to drop urrah off and decided to go for a relaxing drive in the park after
- Watched the opening ceremonies of the olimpics and men's swimming
- got to bed in time to get a good night's sleep

- Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
