A Fashionista, I'm Not
Hey there - if you havn't heard from me lately, it's cause I've been sick as the proverbial dog... and when I say sick I mean bodily functions best left to Farscape episodes... we'll leave it there. Needless to say this means progress has not been had. If you're frustrated, take small comfort that I'm frustrated, too.
You may have noticed (if you actually come here at all instead of just reading from your f'list) some changes - I decided to try out the new styles they were blathering about on the main page - and with the minimum amount of tinkering, I wound up with this.
I rather like it - though it's a bit monocromatic. Still, it's a nice change.
[EDIT I changed it again - and I like this much much better. Still readable, smaller but legible type, and a nice blend of simple and personality-reflecting. I think I'll stick with this for a while.]
While I'm posting drivel of no concequence and don't even have a meme to throw at you, I might as well post something I've had for ages but kept getting distracted from... pictures of my Halloween costume in progress! :D
As I've mentioned on and off again, I'm planning on dressing up this Halloween as everybody's favourite Banik!

Well, back in mid Sept I dropped 14$ at a second hand store, and I took these pics of the result:
I've got Boots, Vest (covering for vest and shirt because I couldn't find a low-cut enough vest - I'm going to add some fake buckles over the zipper) and pants, now I just need to find the Duster and fingerless gloves - mike_mccall and I are going to make me a mask... and as you can tell, I've already got the crap season four hair! XD
I hope I can find everything in time! If anyone out there can give me a hand with locating a suitable jacket and/or gloves, I'd be very very appreciative!!
ETA: OMFG, check THIS out! ...anybody got $100 I can steal borrow borrow and not pay back for a few years have?
