i am in mexico and my block class is FUCKING AWESOME!!!! we spent a week in a little tiny town in suthern sonora where there is a field station for biologists and botanists and whatnot. we stayed in little huts, and hiked in cactus forests and kayaked with dolphins in the estuary every day. thats right, dolphins. they came up and swam right with us, and jumped around. it was amazing.
for the last couple of days we have been in this small town up in the mountains, called Alamos. it is so so so beautiful here. it is at the point where desert is begginning to turn into cloud forest, so it is beautiful. i{m staying with a host family, taking spanish classes and it is amazing. i can{t even explain how beautiful it is here. and there is a week long music festival starting today, which should be awesome!
