I've lost the magic
I've sort of forgotten how to do a normal post. I'm all commercial now. It makes me SICK.
Um, so I'm working on a "Frankenstein" paper. I'm a vegan now, so I only eat hummus. I recently submitted applications to University of Chicago, Mills, and Willamette. I used collector's edition Star Wars stamps on all of the big scary envelopes. Do you think this will improve my chances of getting in? Let's have a poll. A fun poll.
So here's my paper. I'm talking about education, and how Romanticists thought that education and learning could only come from spontaneous activities. The Romanticists. Ha! They were all, ooh, I'm going to sit in a forest and stroke a deer for four hours! Ooh, I'm going to eat some flower petals and meditate on it! Ooh, I'm going to get high on opium and SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
And I was at the school board meeting last week, and that's basically how everyone thinks Hale is. Drugs and hippie math and sitting around having quasi-discussions but never actually learning. And everyone hates the "New Math" because they think it's too girly and thoughtful.
