(no subject)
I'm beginning to feel completely overwhelmed with school work and it sucks ass. I think the reason it is worse this semester more than others is because in all honesty, I don't wanna be in school right now. I'd rather be working these last two weeks with everyone. If only classes started in October, then at least I'd have some motivation to do well. And we're talking about me here, so of course I'm gonna strive to do well, but it's the extent to which I'm putting that strive into that I'm worried about.
I love work. Or maybe I should restate that. I like work, but I love the people I work with. And if I didn't continue with this job it wouldn't be the worst thing, because it's never going to be the same environment with these same people I'm currently working with. Yes, some will still be here, but... ugh. I'm afraid my negative/sad attitude will continue for at least another few weeks... and I REALLY need to start studying for quizzes and exams and working on projects that I have within these next few weeks, too :(
We finally got to discuss logistics with Aveda this week, so now we're just waiting on the final word of job/no job. When will that be? we have no idea.
I really like him, and it sucks. Last night was so nice and laid back... though I did come home smelling like smoke afterwards from the silly boys who enjoy smoking in basements. gah. But at least I made it to the final table :) It was nice to know that at least brian byron howard thought I was cool, because I'm a girl who "likes football and playing cards". Maybe he and john knocked some sense into him once they got to the bars :P I can only hope. Cause body language only says so much... *sigh*
Another week where I'm looking forward to Thursday... I think this will be a common occurance. Only this Thursday moreso than next Thursday... cause that will not be a good week period :(
OH! And in good and exciting news, we have a new family member!!! Her name is Hana (we pronouce it hannah) Rose and as of yesteday, she is a 9-week old, golden retriever puppy. Muffin does not get along with her yet, but that will come with time.
