So after a gruelling twelve hour day yesterday, I have completed my InterFuture paper. It is one hundred and one pages of censorship-free scholarship. Today, I am editing it and writing my criticisms of the program. The last year and a half will come to a close for my by this evening. Did it all really happen? All I seem to have for it is a large stack of papers, a slightly annoying skin rash, and a new love. I suppose my view of the world is totally changed, too. I suppose.
Tomorrow I move to Boston to finish college life altogether. I'm taking fairly good classes but I predict I'll find it stifling. I also have a job I'm excited about, at the law library. I'm living with two people who should help keep me on track and challenge me to keep considering the things I've learned. Thank god, because I find the lessons slipping away from me in favor of what's easy. And what's easy in America is often not good for the rest of the world (highly simplified).
I look forward to grad school and the next new thing. I hope more and more that I'll be able to go to Canada. I'd like to learn French and it's exciting to think of starting over in an entirely new city where I don't know anyone (don't tell Anthony Wong).
Otherwise, who wants to see Perfume with me? I'm dying to go.
