My dear friend, what you must understand is that either way this situation was going to cause you pain. This was the best of the two options. In most cases my friend, you'll hurt but it will be for the best in the long run. You both have lessons that you need to learn and that was the best thing that I could possibly see from the situation, but even then things have a point in which there is no more to be learned by either party.
