Hmm . . . what to post.
Tomorrow is mother's day. I have to work. I have to work today also. 4 hours each. What an exciting life. lol
I have a kitten on my lap right now attacking, chewing and licking at my hair that is laying on my chest. OUCH!!! that hurt. He got me.
I was so proud of myself last night. I made a little fryer chicken w/a sweet glaze, cooked baby carrots, fresh bread in my bread machine, mixed up raspberry lemonade, and made a fruit salad. Josh was so impressed with my dinner that he agreed to play "Life" with me.
I miss California right now. I wish I could take Josh there to show him how fun it is.
I love our rain though! I needed to run out to get an onion (ours turned out to be moldy) and when I left it was looking dark like it was going to rain, and in 2 mins it started. I pulled into Meijers and decided real quick that I'd be fine w/o the umbrella in my car, it was just a few drops. I grab my stuff and go to leave the store and it has started downpouring. If it had been hail you would have been beaten to death. I braved it because I had a chicken waiting for me on the counter at home. Got pretty soaked, could hardly see to drive, the streets were flooding because it ws coming down so fast and my car was fogging up. LOL, I was smart enough to use my umbrella to get from the car to my apartment, it didn't save my sandeled feet.
