Although I was never the most active posters/commenter (by which I mean, pretty much never), I did keep up reading LJ at least. I'm not quite sure when I wandered away, but it's been a REALLY LONG time, and I feel so out of the loop

Natasha+Steve: BEST. BROS. EVER. I love that they didn't make that sexual or romantic (though I still want them to bang, of course, just... as bros who fuck sometimes I AM A SIMPLE WOMAN OK).
I sort of wonder about Natasha's backstory in this. The AI Nazi said she was born in 1984, but she said she'd worked for the KGB. She clearly believes in the Winter Soldier authoritatively, and while she gives good testimony as to context on that, she did it in a way which seemed like she might be giving a partial answer that sounds like the whole answer. At the end she really doesn't seem at allll concerned about the idea of ~all her secrets being out there. She leaves to "find herself" / "find some new covers since hers were all blown" (when she whistle-blew on HERSELF, lol)... and we see Fury disappearing too. I trust her truths about as far as I can throw them.
Or maybe I am a Natasha fangirl clinging to all the hopes. WHO KNOWS.
