The Funniest thing happened today...
This is an incredibly funny story that involves my sister I must share with you today.....it was a scream.
So my sister (Laura) is at the grocery store getting a sandwich for lunch for herself, and she is in the checkout line. And this lady, my sister said probably the age of 55, who was right in front of her in line,was staring at her. Laura tried to ignore her (if you know my sister she doesnt like confrontations....) but the woman just kept staring at her with the glazed look. My sister, finally nervous and freaked out, asked her what she was staring at. The lady said that my sister reminded her of her dead daughter!!! My sister said she felt pretty bad about that. But then the lady asked her a strange request: She asked her to call her "mom." Now, my sister, very weirded out, obliged and said "Sure, mom." The lady burst into tears and walked away, crying her eyes out. Now, Laura was very wierded out, but was relieved the lady was gone.
Then, out of the blue, the cashier said "That will be $115.98 (or whatever amount it was, she doesnt remember)." My sister was obviously wondering what the heck the cashier was talking about. My sister said it was the lady's purchases. But the cashier said "But you are her daughter, i heard you call her mom." Laura tried to argue with the cashier, saying that she wasnt that lady's daughter, but the cashier didnt believe her. So my sister (oddly enough, I thought she would cry) ran out of the store and found the lady getting into her car. She ran up to the lady and told her she needed to pay for her groceries. The lady said no, and a big argument ensued with my sister and the lady! The lady tried to close the door of her car and take off, but my sister actually grabbed and started pulling her leg....
just like im doing to you right now........ Ouch, gotta hurt, doesnt it? :)
