First on her list of people to greet was the first person to try to cheer her up when she was feeling moody...little Liz, the first to cheer anyone up and unlike the lovelorn Ralph or the naive Akiko, one who could understand how she felt in more ways than merely her empathy. A few flowers had been purchased from Katelyn earlier that day; ironic, Rei thought, considering that the brunette must likely shower her girlfriend with flowers all the time. But, I wanted to get you a small something." She then explained further. "I wanted to thank you for always being such a good friend, so I felt that you deserved something more special than a simple Valentine's Day card."

She then graciously accepted her own gift. "More sweets, I take it?" Another small smile could be seen, this one kind and thankful. "Thank you," she said in return. "I'm sure I will enjoy them. You always do bake the best treats."
