I shut off receiving email from that post *ponders* early yesterday morning? I think? Because of the onslaught (went to bed with 20 messages, woke up to 98 messages).

Anyway, all of the anonymous messages were tucked into my "View Recent Comments." I've just pretty much had enough.

I had everything from being called "A judgmental bitch" to pseudo-intellectual bullshit on why I'm a killjoy for not letting everyone do what they want. Nothing threatening, at least, but frankly, I just can't be bothered if they can't even sign their names.

I banned all non-friends posting last week because of some BS. Something in the stars I think. ;P

The utter assheadedness of some comments on that subject are... impressive. As in, when one walks through the barnyard on a wet day, impressive.

*huggles you*, just cos it sounds like you're having the kind of day where extra (virtual) hugs would be of the good.

I don't blame you a bit for turning off anonymice. It isn't like it's at all difficult to get an OpenID set up, even if someone doesn't want to make an LJ.
