Loved the seven minute ref and his vehemence in the room. Clearly he should have realised better than trying to bullshit Faith what with her inbuilt bullshit detector although his 2nd slayer comment clearly hit home.
Really nice portrayal of Andrew I can actually see that he would be good at these little backroom tasks that are essential for the smoothrunning. Of course the parallel I draw is Stalin.:-)
Xander is clearly still pissed at Faith for not apologising and for saying sorry for the small things because he thinks she thinks he doesn't deserve it. When clearly given that she has obviously been keeping track of him means that she feels she can never apologise for the crap she did to him.
I wonder now whether the resolution may involve it sucking Faith and Xander getting to feel her feelings and thoughts as she is now about what she did then.
Really liked this passage:
"His one avenue of escape cut off, Xander tried to maneuver himself into a position where, if Faith tried to attack him, he’d be able to duck the assault and maybe get around her to the door. “I thought I just explained that,” he said."
"Faith suddenly seemed to deflate as if all the anger had escaped in a rush from her body. “We’re just talkin’ here,” she said softly"
Cuts to the heart of both characters. Faith deflating when she realises Xander still is scared of her and sees her as a threat.He thinking only of escaping her and not seeing how she has changed.
