*sees the injured but is focused on the hysterical woman. Quickly makes his way over to her.*

*knows it probably won't help, but tries to calm her with reassuring words.*

*witnessed what happened...can't believe it, of all things...Borg. Knows it would be dangerous for the woman to go after the child, especially after being assimilated...but how do stop someone from going after their child?*

*looks over at the other woman...injured, needs to help her*

*looks over at Namon and takes a deep breath. Remembers the little things Namon has done to help her and gathers herself together*

*wipes her tears* I'll do my best *sees his lieutenant's pips* sir. I... I'm a nurse. *feels shaky* but you might want to restrict me to doing simple things at first. *shaking a bit, but his asking her to help him causing her to focus on him and the injured around them instead of Rupe* I'll do what I can.

*moves over to the side of the other woman...takes in her injuries*

I'm going to need some more bandages. I don't suppose you have a dermal regenerator laying around here somewhere, do you? Also, her heart's most likely still in shock from the shot. If you could help me with your equipment with that...

we have an eel that closes wounds quickly and secretes a hormone that speeds up general healing. I'll get her and the equipment we use to treat phaser injuries. *goes and gets Bertha, returns with her, and a shoulder bag with the necessary equipment. Gently places Bertha on the worse cut and then shows Julian the equipment*

this is our medical tricorder, hypos for pain the type of medication listed on the slot they're in, our cerebral scanner and the hypos that will help get the brain chemistry and electrical function back. Phlox is always careful with them, says he has to choose them carefully depending on which area of the brain is most scrambled.

*takes the cerebral scanner from her and tries to determine which medication would be best. Injects the woman with one. Takes the tricorder and runs it over her...seems to be balancing out enough to finally give the patient a hypo for the pain. Can now take his time with the other minor cuts and bruises.*

*monitors Namon's vital signs and reports them, recording what medicine was given and treatment*

will she be ready to transfer onto a biobed soon?

Yes, I believe so. I'd like her vital signs to stablize a bit more before doing so.

*turns to face her*

you're welcome *haunted smile* I'm just doing my best to be of help. *swallows hard* If I can focus on helping others it may ... help me forget for a little while... I know Jon will... will do what he can for Rupe... *clears her throat* is there anything else I can do? To keep my mind off ... things?

Perhaps, check out the condition of some of the other patients while I keep an eye out on this young lady. Report back to me if you find anything serious...?

of course doctor. *checks the patients and looks on their charts to see if any medication needs to be given. Makes notes on a PADD on each patient. Automatically does what she can to make them more comfortable, lowering the lights over their individual beds, adjusting limbs, blankets and pillows. Comes back to Namon and Julian in about ten minutes.*

I have notes on the other patients current conditions for you to look over if you wish.
