I can haz turtle!
After seeing a pattern for this little knitted turtle online, I was inspired to try knitting something that wasn't 2-dimensional like a scarf or blanket, and venture into the world of corners and round things. This little guy was just too cute to pass up with his removable shell that comes off like a sweater! Thankfully he turned out pretty well as opposed to the lumpy green wish-I-was-a-turtle like object I feared he would be.
Next up are costumes! Since his shell is removable, of course that means he needs something else to wear so he won't be nekid. In the mail is yarn and patterns to make him cute animal costumes (sheep, lion, bat, bummblebee) and other colored shells. :D
