Going for a walk in the amazing winter wonderland...
Turning said walk into a walk to the club so a warm, drinky break from the walk could involve awesome dancing :)
Figuring out a club outfit that would be convertible from my snowpants, snow boots and winter gear to fun club outfit
Walking in the middle of the street in a winter wonderland b/c it was empty and much easier than trying to forge through the sidewalks :)
Running into awesome friends shoveling their walk along the way ;)
Arriving at the club to dance the night away thanks to the Best Dj Ever! :)
Seeing Best Dj Ever!'s wife being most adorable all night long dancing her heart out :)
Getting to say hi to friends I haven't talked to in waaay too long
Walking home in the wonderful winterland and having it be a much shorter walk than I remembered.. thank you bartender Matt!
Unpeeling all of my winter layers and immediately hopping into a steamy hot yummy shower
Curling up in my flannel pjs, down slipperboots, and fleece blankie with my laptop warmer
After getting up at 7am (b/c *that* was sleeping in), jaunting off to work before the storm hit, and then being cooped up in the apartment aaaall day while having previous Plans For The Night canceled due to No Driving In The Blizzard :/ ... this was exactly what I needed. :D I can't wait to get up tomorrow and convince Nick that making a two headed snowman would be the most fun idea of the day ;)
Edited to add this pretty winter pic I took at Tenney Park last weekend.. while learning how to play hockey!!! sooooo much fun!!!
