So let me slip away
Obviously, it's Saturday at 2:32 and I'm moving into school on Monday and I JUST started packing (I'm also working 10:30-6 tomorrow, so that doesn't leave too much time for packing tomorrow). Now, I am stopping to update because let's face the facts, I am a procrastinator. It still hasn't hit me that summers over, you know. Me and Ren hung out on Thurs for one of the last times, but since I've seen her like everyday this summer I keep on thinking I'll still see her all the time, even though I know I'm leaving. It's weird.
But these last few weeks have been good. Last week I worked a lot, and this week I only worked one day... hahaha it's ok I liked it. Mostly I've just been hanging out. Me and Ren painted our ceramics per the yearly tradition, this year we painted flying pig piggy banks. One night I hung out with John, Meghan, AJ, Bill, Dan, and Laurel at AJ's house. During this time John proceeded to get quite drunk and at one high point in the night ended up slapping Laurel, which probably hurt but was hysterical to those watching. Ohhhh you (p.s. John, you are obviously reading this, so I wanted to tell you that I printed out the pic of me and you that night to give to you at some point, but it turned out like gross and red and it made me sad). I had to leave the next morning at 8:30 which was notttt fun considering AJ lives in the middle of nowhere and I had to work at 10:30.
This week I also went to Jenn's house and she was amazing like usual. We went to the Aquarium with her mom, sis, and 2 of their friends. I was soooo pumped we said we were gonna go like during the school year, so I'm really glad that we actually went because I'm good at saying I'll do things then never do them. We saw penguins, and weird fish, and I went into the little kid part and touched starfish, and saw huge sea turtles, and a shark. And we went to the IMAX theater and watched the Shark 3-D movie, which was not as good as I thought it was gonna be, it was like about sharks but it didnt show them like eating things or anything... but oh well anything in 3-D is automatically awesome. That night Jenn and her sis threw a party, and it was fun. And maybe I was a little gone for some of it... :/ The next morning I had to leave Jenn's at 8:45 to make it back to Dracut for my 10:30 optomitrist appointment. That nighttt me and Ren picked up our pigs, went to Panera, baked a cake, got AMAZING NH shirts (mine says: Born to HUNT, forced to work.... New hampshire (and the "hunt" is in camo) and Ren's says: Born to FISH, forced to work.... New Hampshire) and had a mini photoshoot. It was our last real night to hang out :(
Yesterday I went shopping for all my back to school needs, it was like a 4 hour quest. But I had everything I need, now it's just the matter of getting it all packed and ready to go. The biggest/worst part will be getting all my clothes together. I still can't believe the summer's over. I was expecting it to be awesome, probably just because I couldn't wait to get home from school. But it was mediocre, nothing TOO great, nothing bad either though. Next summer, I don't even know what I'm going to do with myself because Ren's gonna be living in Boston and she's my only friend at home. So I'm pretty sure I'm going to dread next summer. I think it's weird that so many other people are still such good friends with their friends from high school, and I'm friends with like one. Oh well.
I'm going to edit this tonight and add in some pictures, but I know if I do it right now I will never continue the packing process, so until then
