“I just don’t understand how a man such as you could love me so much,” she replied softly, after a moment of thought. Putting emotions into words was never an easy task. And she knew it was even harder for him. “I suppose I am almost expecting that this wonderful dream will end at any moment and I will crash back into the reality of what my life has been. I never knew life could be so full… I never knew I was missing a thing until I met you. And the thought of losing you now, after having tasted love this sweet… the thought of never being around you again is painful.
“I have nowhere I would rather be. I will not leave you,” he replied, kissing her hand. “I will never leave you.”
“Nor I you,” she replied, smiling softly, and for the first time truly melting into love.
