in my current state of idlling... i thought i should share my purchasing rationale...

Purchasing Rationale
When buying things (especially clothes!), cost per use is considerably more important than the actual price of the item because if you buy something you use often, it'll almost always work out to be more valuable than a cheap purchase you use a couple of times. My objective is to buy things that can eventually work out to $0.50 per use. hehe. Of course, the other criteria is that the thing must be able to last in spite of frequent usage...

e.g. If a denim skirt costs $90 - at first glance, it's definitely expensive. However, if average use is once a week for 3-4 years, it works out quite well.

That doesn't mean that it's bad to buy cheap things. The question is how often will you use it? I find that this method works far better for me than setting a budget of how much I can spend on certain things, cos I always end up breaking the budget anyway. This way, I only end up spending money when I can imagine using the thing to a point where it costs $0.50 per use. Of course there are exceptions. hahahaha.

Is this logical or are we thinking r-a-t-i-o-n-a-l-i-s-a-t-i-o-n here? ;)

was gonna share the Theory of Illogical Logic too, but can't think of any good examples right now. it's a baaaad thing that's inflicted on me regularly btw.

and hv just discovered that a friend has been sending messages to me on trillian and i didn't receive any. this is v.v.v.v.v.v.v. bad. imagine the damage to my *cough* social *cough* life.

D. has just reminded me of the word 'fuckwittage'. Love that word. Am going to mutter it all day.
