mom's so possessive of her kitchen. everything has to be done *her* way so I've stayed away after endless arguments due to her thinking that I'm incapable of doing anything right in the kitchen although my time spent abroad is almost 4 years in total. granted, I'm no gourmet chef, but I can survive... so imagine my shock when I discovered that today, I had been promoted from kitchen scum to chef assistant!!!
I got to deep-fry tempura prawns!!! think i should go buy lottery - today must be my lucky day.
and just a reminder to my future self, do not ever buy lots of small little things to put in the display cabinet unless you will DIE without it! spent half the day cleaning those little souvenirs etc. i will have a very ZEN home next time!!! God, i hate cleaning. I want to infest my home with that bacteria that eats up dust. Isn't that a great product?
also if anyone LOVES stuffed toys (Mr. Men, Pooh, etc), or looking for pressies to give away, I'd be happy to give mine to you... otherwise they're going to kids at children's home or something... they have all showered and powdered and are pretty clean. :)
