nicked these Q's off latraviata... figured it'll be fun to if everyone would post theirs... so 'fess up!!
1. What is your lineage? Where are your ancestors from?
Teochew Chinese. Dad's parents are from the Teoh Yonh village/province(?) in Swatow and mom's from Po Leng village... all in China of cos...
2. Of those countries, which would you most like to visit?
I don't know if those places still exist! tho' logically they should... never visited, so don't mind some day.
3. Which would you least like to visit?
uh. i think those villages are probably within walking distance of each other...
4. Do you do anything during the year to celebrate or recognize your heritage?
All the Chinese festivals i reckon. Chinese New Year - which I've dislike cos it's so meaningless pretending to enjoy seeing people I couldn't care less about.
5. Who were the first ancestors to move to your present country?
My great-granddad - he owned a charcoal shop in Emerald Hill Road - i think the shophouse got bombed or wrecked during WWII but don't know why after it was rebuilt, we didn't own it anymore.. otherwise it'll be so cool to still live there!!!
