stop procrastinating!!

caught Murder by Numbers with Stell tonight, bookended by sit-around-bitch-and-chat session as usual. Movie was enjoyable, with some disruptive work from our censors, of cos censored sex, not violence. a little incongruous towards the end, but overall entertaining and slightly nail-biting. Pitt was good as the tortured outcast genius (and looks alot like Leonardo in Gilbert Grape), and Bullock had some really good lines. Chaplin re-did his dorky guy from Truth about Cats and Dogs, so nothing new there.

Stell's gotten paranoid about Lai again since she seems to be back on with Thai. we're thinking this could be the guy she's gonna get hitched to. in preparation for the big day, we wrote this for Stell's speech:

There was a girl named Lai,
Who met a guy named Thai,
T'was a match made in heaven,
It sure was divine intervention,
And now the knot we watch them tie.

Stell's gonna get high for the event, and I'm gonna high-tail it out of the country for whatever once-in-a-lifetime event which coincides with that day.

Decided to stay on with GGI till July 8, since I get to go HK. Need to consider the art gallery deal seriously. If I take that up, must remember to tell Juan I won't be doing any work for GGI for first two weeks. Still hoping BVI will call, that will take a major load of my mind for the next few months.

Tho' keep telling Juan that not interested in doing production any more, but hate sitting in the office. love running about outside, being on location. but also love cutting the deal, business negotiation and closing deals. wonder how's work in TVC's nowadays. am i selling out if i work in TVCs?! need money tho'. hehe.

options in production - film/tv/tvcs/documentary:
1. producer - already have experience as production coordinator/asst producer, so would be easier to pick up and move in this direction.
2. production design - area of interest, but only some experience. can start as props/wardrobe assistant i suppose. but sometimes hate working with cast, so props would be my thing.
3. writer - some experience, but there's really not much money in this for now. need to practice and build portfolio.

damn damn damn. there's something else but it's just flown out of my mind.
