another sunday
as expected... i was utterly bored. what was not expected: he's about the same height as me and skinnier... urks. and extremely long-winded. we went over the points of my lack of interest of a career in IT, how i'm a project manager and not a programmer, how he thinks the environment in sgp is better than hk, but the food sucks. each topic about 2-3 times... arghs! can die. i think at some point, i was almost rude cos i'm so impatient... din think he got it tho'... and horror of horrors, saw G. come into coffee bean while we were there. thank goodness she din come over and do her fake-ko good friend thing. on the way saw L. who used to be a producer at Picture Farm but couldn't talk to her cos I was in a cab.
then went to J's place to borrow her bikini. ended up watching the story about how they found the famous National Geographic Afghanistan girl (the one with the piercing green eyes)... rather amazing that they managed to find her after 17 years.... can see that life's been hard on her, eyes are still as sharp and alert as before, but tired too... they were saying how the photo inspired many people to volunteer in Afghanistan... that's really impressive. the power of an image.
oh ya.. and we were talking about getting tattoos... J already has one of a rose and her name... i like those celtic designs myself.. maybe will go look for designs online... it'd be nice to get one on the small of the back...
nowadays listening to Jay Chou alot cos he used to listen to it all the time.. every now and then he says things to me that make my stomach flip... we've agreed to take it slow, no commitment, just hang out and stuff.. which works for me since i'm always a little freaked by the idea of committing to anything... even tho' there's no one else i'm really interested in doing this with right now... dun really know what i'm doing but just go with the flow and see where it takes me. carpe diem~
