ARGHS I'm so gonna have nightmares tonight after just finishing Disturbia~ the premise of the film is nothing new but sometimes great editing can really make a film. Especially when I think I'm living amongst psychos in Tokyo...
In other non-frightening news, I finally submitted my application to the Immigration Bureau today - hopefully will hear good news within a month... If it's not good news, then I think early November would be just fine. I'm counting on my lucky stars though. I decided I like the new cult Leader we have, cos I think even though the last one was fun, he didn't get my application processed. Even my address update was not updated! Talk about slacker~
Anyway, my first lesson tonight, I met a really cute guy who was having his last lesson (damn!). He told me how he and his wife stopped by Singapore on the way back from the Maldives during their honeymoon, and they loved it so much that on their first wedding anniversary, they went to the Singapore Seafood Republic in Shinagawa to have chilli crab for dinner. It's apparently a restaurant set up by Jumbo, Palm Beach and Seafood International(?). Anyway, they love Singapore so much, they wanna go there and live and work. Please say hi if you see them in the streets. The only thing was, he said he loves spicy food, but his stomach always gets upset, so he wanted to know if we have any cure for it since we eat so much spicy food. I don't really know the answer since I hardly ever have this problem.
also, Dear Universe, please send more (cute) guy students cos I think my client base is becoming almost 100% female! WHY~ First, there was Beanie Fukuyama, who has since disappeared off the surface of the earth; then there was mr hotbod who doesn't come for lessons often, much less mine. There are a couple of other regular guy students I've never mentioned, like Earnest K. who is this really sweet guy, but he must be busy cos he hasn't come for any lessons lately; Surfin' F. who I swear is a Leo cos I think he's hot even though he's older, but his lessons are finishing soon and he won't be renewing them, so sad. I'll tell you about the ladies another day, but all I can say is that it's a good thing I'm not a guy in Tokyo, cos I'd probably be worse than WildOats next door. There are just too many cute/hot girls in Tokyo. And I think I'll score more girls than WildOats cos even as a girl, I think I'm a cooler guy than him. Does that make sense? LOL~ But very happy today, cos I saw that my new fave student, KK, booked more lessons~ wheeee~ haha I'm super hyper tonight and I just remembered I must go and look at the Summer Sonic schedule and check with Maki hers cos I have no idea where we overlap and howlongdoyouthinkthissentencewillcontinuetorunon???
Oh and I shouldn't be so excited but next Thursday! OMG wheee!
