the mess that is my room is beyond redemption. I'm just re-arranging the mess into a slightly more beautiful version. however, it was fun to find some old stickers that i've used to decorate my monitor - now my entire screen has a red border, going 'I want...', 'I want...' where '...' is beauty, happiness, love, inspiration, coffee, adventure, sex, it, resolution, roses etc.. hehe. so fun.
just heard from joho that chinless wants to do something really memorable for her birthday... sooooooooo, they gonna go to a photo studio and take some portrait shots. hehehe. that's about the funniest thing i've heard in a while. (yes yes, my life is sad) i can't wait to see the pix.
meanwhile, murakami madness continues. am once again reading 'Dance Dance Dance':
"Compared to the grand sweep and romance of Jack London's life, my existence seemed like a squirrel with its head against a walnut, dozing until spring."
The more I read his books, the more I see parallels with my life. Slightly scary. But I think I'd like to meet the Sheep Man - "You have but to seek and the Sheep Man shall connect." and since the clutter clearing began, i've discovered so many unread books... no more library or book buying for me for a while...
addm: i think i should listen to shuk and put some in time to try out writing... hm.
addm2: i think i need create a site to collect and sort quotes...
