elastic time

usually when you have no time on your hands, every hour speeds past like nobody's business. when you do something you're not into, the seconds crawl by ever so slowly. tonight i was caught in the strange situation of being in a room (watching Song of the Storkwith Q&A session no less) where time got stuck, while the time outside sped away. sat there thinking about the opportunity cost - the one and only topic i understood in economics. oh ya, other than the multiplier effect - my favourite economics concept. and also spent some time staring at my director's flowery socks which are so girly, but he says is his attempt to be 'metro'. halfway through this stewing, my nose started and a fever came on.. arghs. go away and please dun come back.

i've forgotten what i wanted to say originally. tho' these are a few things that have been floating around in my mind:
:: how come Magnolia is generally known as an indie film when it had a USD$37mil budget and a 80-plus day shoot. art film might be a better tag.
:: it's scares me how i've gotten to know Geylang in the past couple of weeks.
:: it sucks how often everything ultimately comes down to money

ok. the mind has blanked out. i wanted to do the what's your livejournal sitcom? thing, but i couldn't be anyone but Mickey Rourke. give up.

moments, movies, random rambles
