even my eye is lazy...

most people are bewildered when they discover I only wear one contact lens - the vision in my left and right eyes are completely off balance (by about 200 degrees) due to my 'lazy (right) eye' - it literally means what it's called - your eye just slacks off and doesn't do its share of the work. I think it also means i have a bigger blind spot on my right side. anyway, it hasn't been a big deal - i even thought that it had corrected itself.

Until yesterday.

I went to see the optometrist. apparently ms. right eye is practically on a holiday and only working a fraction of the time she's supposed to put in. bloody hell. my own body is cheating me! so now I have to go back to wearing a lens in my right eye and it has to be one of those horribly thick torric lens cos they don't make disposables with astig 'function'. haiz. why is this body so problematic -_-?

Casting started today. it was sloooow but astropup dropped by to help and that helped the time go by. i hope things get better. probably need to start approaching/harassing people on the street soon. somehow i don't think we're hitting quite the right crowd tho' maybe there were a couple of potentials... still, it's a little demoralizing... i came home and continued to pack my room...
