Lofty Dreams
Hopefully I will return to this page and add more dreams as I think of them. Some of these dreams are clearly unattainable but why the hell not attempt them.
1. I wish I had a sexy smoky voice that sang French jazz songs in 1920s fashion.
2. I still wish that I could accept an academy award for my stellar performance in a brilliantly written film. I would thank the writers for such amazing material and bring my mother as my date. She would probably have also helped me pick a glamorous yet unusual gown.
3. I want a sailboat that I would take up and down the coasts of the world. You could come too! (This was my backup plan in high school if I decided not to go to college.)
4. I want to obtain my masters degree. Probably in clinical psychology.
5. I want to help people. I want to be an amazing therapist.
6. I want a gorgeous house that I call home.
7. Everyone wants to fall in love and live happily ever after. A palm reader told me that I would have two great loves and one marriage. I hope I marry one of those loves.
8. The same palm reader said that I would not have any children. I want children. Adopted or my own, it doesn't matter. I want children's drawings on my refrigerator. You know I'd make an excellent mother.
9. I want to spend some time living in another country. I want to work and experience another culture.
