1. What political issue(s) stirs you the most?
just like everyone else right now, i have election fever. i am mostly interested in trying to get people in my age group to pay attention, to open their eyes & to listen to what our leaders (and possible future leaders) are saying & doing. we need to get out there & at least be registered to vote so we're ready.
as far as the issues are concerned, i am pro-gay marriage & rights, pro-choice & anti-war. i'm also want better funding for education, especially arts education. my art degree is paying my bills. how many jocks can say that about their high school football career?
2. What's the single worst fashion tend out there?
for me, being a plus size woman, i feel the worst trend is all these balloon dresses or tunic tops. if you add more fabric, you look bulkier. guess what: just because you hide your curves/hips/fat doesn't mean they don't exist. who cares if you are fat? because i have a large midsection & hips that match, i only end up looking pregnant & that pisses me off.
also, the raptor is dead to me. it has just gotten WAY too cliqué.
3. What's your favorite thing about yourself?
my sense of humor. although i often think i'm much funnier than i probably really am.
4. What's the best present you've ever received?
although it's not a "typical" present i think the best thing i've been given is my education. i am so very grateful that my parents could afford to put me through college (with me working too) because i had the most amazing time & it's only now, 3.5 years after graduation that i really appreciate that time. the things i learned in class & outside of it & all the friends i made were the most important & cherished.
5. What's YOUR prejudice?
i honestly try to be open to all races, religions, sexual preferences etc. but i'm pretty prejudice against total bible-thumper evangelists. i think it's all a money making scam & i don't understand people who blindly believe things that aren't very accurate. i have read the bible & went to church my whole life & there are people out there who claim to be christian & don't love people like christians should. christ was about acceptance & forgiveness. too often these people rush to blame & damn those who don't live or choose the same things they do. i also hate REALLY, REALLY, REALLY DISLIKE this person, this person & this person. i died a little inside doing a search for those people. it felt so wrong.
