my mom is an early childhood special education teacher and traditionally votes conservative/republican.
i need to make sure to point this out to her.
um, yes, that's right. in alaska, the only state with a surplus budget (meaning they make more than they spend as a state/government - mostly from the oil drilling surprise, surprise) the governor still cuts special education funding by 62 fucking percent. SOMEONE EXPLAIN THAT TO ME, PLEASE!
she should be ashamed. i wonder who's going to have the money to teach her new child that was born with downs syndrome. oh that will be poor sarah palin time huh?
