When a human touches the face of a loved one it's conveying a certain message. It's an affectional gentle stroke filled with sentiment and warmth. Because it means this to us, we often touch the faces of our dogs in a similar way, thinking that it's the same gesture. But what if dogs don't see it that way at all? What if dogs absolutely hate having their faces touched, but put up with it for our sake? My god, think of history. How many generations of dogs have had to go through this torture? Someone stop this madness!
