Surprised!!!
So, I usually hate working concerts on college campuses because we end up having like 100 or so volunteers that don't know what they are doing helping us. Well today was no different except for the fact that some of them actually did know what they were doing. I'm not saying I enjoyed having all the volunteers there, but at least todays volunteers were competent.
The show went well, for the most part! There were a few incidents which involved the police and pepper spray so they show was stopped for 10 minutes to let the air clear up since it was bothering the performers. There were also a few people who had a "little" too much to drink and ended up either passing out or getting into fights. Nothing that doesn't normally happen at concerts! The Black Eyed Peas were really good, I saw their whole set since I got there soo early. PussyCat Dolls weren't to bad in their encore but I wasn't really impressed. What impressed me the most was that the Black EyePeas came out after their set and signed autographs for over an hour. The manager kept telling them that they had to go get ready to leave and they would tell the manager that until the line was gone, they weren't going anywhere. So needless to say, everyone who wanted an autograph or photo got one.~I didn't get one~ I didn't really want one, even though wwere all told that we could, I just didn't want one from them. Instead I got drumsticks, and guitar picks. Good enough for me!!! Well I've got to go to bed now. I'm working at Toads tomorrow at 12:00.
