just had a flashback to 'she's all that' when freddie prinze does that stream of consciousness monologue with the hackey sack.
with that note, i will try to write a proper, organized entry. HA. lets seee...
1. Febles & Sartre, FREN 266:
Febles concluded his lecture on absurdity of life according to the existentionalist ideas/not theories of Sartre byyy noting how the immense control we have over our bodies is absurd. He went on to say that we should pee whenever we have to pee, like Tom in "Le Mur" when he pisses himself. We only hold our bladders because we were ostracized as kids everytime we "peed or pooped" in our pants. !!! EDUARDO, you are my hero.
2. DIS-ATTACHEMENT at MassArt:
My art is getting shown! Three pieces. In Monica's show! Now, who is Monica? We met two years ago through my swim-love Angela, and bumped into eachother at the Pig. Today when we met up to prepare for the show we launched into an amazing conversation about the Boston art community. We both had so much to share! I definitely need to see her more often.
3. TRAVELS:
Montreal or Chicago for New Years? Road trip to Missouri? Spring Break Nothing? Graduation Celebration in Paris? AMC hut girl summer '07?
4. CAREER NEWS:
Absolutely loved my visit to the Griffin Museum on Tue. Really think I may go with my 'gut' with this one and accept their internship offer. It's perfectly small but perfectly busy. I won't be bored. I'll be surrounded by photography and photographers all the time. I'll have my hands into everything. I'll get connections like whoa. And I'll be out of the city in the lovely lil town on Winchester. Quick 30-mon Commuter ride, not baddd ;)
5. NEXT APT:
Becky and I will have an adorable apartment, I just know it. I want to really decorate well this time. I want to have a *clean* place too. Neighborhood picking is fun too. I'm reallly into Davis Sqr/Somerville, Central Sqr/Cambridge, or JP if I can find the right place (I know the other two better). Nik has been pretty pro-JP but found out last night that a bunch of his Patagonians live in Somerville & LOVE IT. Eeee I gotta start looking!
6. OTHER:
Hmmmm, I dont know what to do about my hair. Chop it all off?? And clothing, am I truly a fan on the black leggings? I THINK SO!!! They are just so versatile. OH YES, I cant wait till THANKSSSGIVING. DELISH FOOD AND FAMILY.
