No Album Review after all =(
So I started a really long Back to Basics album review for Christina Aguilera a week back or so, but I never got around to finishing it, and it's way too long, and I'm never going to finish it haha. I was writing like a fatty paragraph for each song.
So I'm just going to put the gist of it: I HIGHLY enjoy this record; it's two CD's, both CD's are completely different; I advise listening to each seprately as if they were different CD's rather than just putting the 2nd one in after the 1st each time it finishes and treating it like one really long piece. It's better if you loops each separately. I absolutely LOVE the 2nd CD: I really, really, really like the first. I give the first CD 3 stars (all taht reflects is my personal enjoyment, not a critical assessment of music as if I thought anyone had the credibility to do that), and the 2nd CD 4 stars.
And instead of reviewing each track, I'm just going to list them, from my MOST FAVORITE to my least favorite. I still like the "least favorites" a lot, though. Every song is a really, really good song, and most are better. =)

These last two songs I don't particularly like. Musically, they're pretty superb, both instrumentally and vocally, but I don't particularly understand the point of the theme/lyrics. (It's not because it's got religious overtones, at all, seriously; it's because I don't understand how they apply) But I suppose that's the secret?

So that is what I think of Christina's album! AMAZING! i lovE IT =)
I got Justin Timberlake's, Beyonce's, Jessica Simpson's, and Danity Kane's today. So I'll listen to those for a few weeks and see what I feel about those too. I'm excited!
