(no subject)
aw crap.
I drove my parent's new truck around yesterday, (1999 Chevy S10), and I love it. It's a manual, which is a very big contribution to my love to it - but most of all, it's the shifting ratio on it. It's not the quick gears, like in my car, or the Saturn... I can cruise in 2nd, or 3rd gear without any problems. It's WEIRD. I hardly ever went to 4th gear, let alone 5th in town. It's comfortable too, surprisingly comfortable compared to my Prelude - which is the most comfortable car I've ever sat in, (you know, that I've owned. The newer Preludes, and the Corvette was pretty damn comfortable as well).
Only thing I don't like about the truck is, it's wrecked! My parents got a great deal on it because it was wrecked on the front drivers side, but they've got the money laying around to fix everything. Looks like my brother and I just got volunteered to do some body work (which I'm liking to do more and more). After we replace the wrecked parts, it heads to the paintshop that'll finish the job, and bam! 1999 Chevy S10 Truck, with 47k miles, for 4k$, and Cody will be asking to drive it, a lot?
My Prelude got it's engine removed, FINALLY. My mom told me this morning that my brother completed removing it... now I just have to order my JDM to put in it, and I'll be set. :) I just put my cd player in Zach's car for the both of our's entertainment since his broke, I hate asking for those kinds of things back. It deprives pleasure from somebody, for self pleasure. Bah. :/ Why take somebody else's fun away, it's so self-centered it seems.
