i'm back from a very tiring today :D but i am quite happy higher chinese o levels was quite easy honestly. stupid yanliang told me his friend said it was 有史以来最难的 -.- how could his friends have heard anything haha -.- lucky i was not very scared, and i tackled the zuowens with utmost confidence. :x the paper 2 was reallly a whole lot easier than ny's. stupid teachers whole day scare us only...
anywayz after that of course we went crazy first, then we went to get our report books and transscript (?) then yic mel and i went to eat at adamn food centre, yay strawberry banana milkshake!! it was pinker than last time. i swear. are strawberries getting cheaper? hmm. i spammed alot of chilli on my chicken rice forgetting about my choir auditions later.
then waited until 330, rushed to hwach for choir audits. hmm, ms lim said i got a teeny bit of problem changing register for the range between high C and...high G or something. she said all ny girls got the same problem. but higher than that, or lower than that, i'm still okay :D haha at least i'm not out of tune or airy!! anyway ms lim was damn funny, she criticised by email "bittersweetfaith@hotmail.com" she asked me why i used the word 'bitter', so un-nice. -.- haha and she tested me, she kept asking me to open my mouth more widely but i kept feeling like i was getting very unglam. sigh, shouldn't have that worry. must be as unglam as possible, open my mouth big!! anyway she ended by saying, "so you can join us on 17 nov for workshop?" yay! ok don't get too complacent first.
there was also an interview. cheryl said it was to gauge our level of commitment...and to check whether we 'd be able to go for choir olymps in austria next year. of course can la. i am dying to get to austria!!! XD
then after that we went to watch rioHC's practice. hahahaha sops sounded funny for the first part of the first song, like they couldn't go over high notes or something. then for pamugun the tenors came in strange. but girls were quite good for pamugun. well aanyway, altos and basses ftw <3 (here i give a sincere prayer to be in alto) hahhaha and the scream was so so freaking good, i actually didn't expect it and i gave a startling OUCH and everyone started laughing. i recorded everything and ms lim's 3 minute laughter was in my recording haha :D i captured her laughter! anyway the birdy was freaking good too, i want to whistle like that man. oh the student condutor was very cute too, like the rabbit kind of cute, and was quite tall, and conducted quite vigorously. kind of reminds me of somebody, coughgeofcoughgeof? :D
eh, i'm comparing the raffles chorale's recording of pamugun and rioHC's. raffles sound tonnes better of course but that was syf standard. rioHC is messy but good enough for like 3 practices worth of training without sectionals, or something!! :D and raffles 's kinda dark, while HC is warmmmm, or maybe it was the accoustics, or maybe because toh made raffles sing pamugun sing in a tone lower. anyhow, i think HC's tone is really nice, esp the girls. :) (altos!!!)
I FEEL VERY VERY LIBERATED!!!!~~~ AND EXCITED. and i really am filled with love for singing and ms lim.
